2009 was our first year together as a band and things have moved along so quickly for us. We want to thank you for all the support that you have given us throughout the year. It’s only the beginning though and we have some exciting things coming up in 2010. So make sure you have a Merry Xmas and a great New Year and we’ll see you all in 2010.

So it’s been a while since we’ve posted an update. Basically we’ve just signed our management contract and things are in the works, which should make 2010 a very good year for As We Climb. We’re currently writing new material for the album, which we hope to release within the first few months of the new year.

There’s more exciting stuff that we can’t talk about right now, but rest assured we’re going to hit 2010 hard! Stay tuned guys!

The time has come for us to take part in the prestigious Red Bull Bedroom Jam.

On Monday October 5th at 5:00PM we will be beamed live from a bedroom in Cambridgeshire onto www.redbullbedroomjam.com.

We’re back from the studio and the new stuff sounds amazing! (if we do say so ourselves). On October 1st we’ll be revealing the new Myspace, the new promo pics and the new tunes! It’s a big date, one not to miss

So it’s Friday.. our last day of recording in the studio. I realise we’ve been pretty slack with the studio updates, but we’ve just been working that hard! Have a look at our Twitters though, we’ve been doing loads of updates on there throughout the week.

The mini-album’s sounding great, but what do you expect with Matty O’Grady at the desk? We can’t wait for you all to hear it, hopefully it’ll be released very soon.. altho we’re going to put some sneak peeks on our Myspace.. so keep your eyes peeled and your ears swabbed.

It turns out the studio delay was a blessing in disguise, as we’ve written an epic ballad that we will be closing the record with. We’re in the process of polishing the song, ready to go big with it in the studio!

We’re going to be using this blog to post studio updates as we go, aswell as making 2 or 3 video diaries, documenting the making of this release, so make sure you keep checking back here or join our mailing list below to be notified when new updates are available.

We’re in the studio from August 23rd to August 30th. So expect plenty of picture, video and text updates between those dates!

BTF here with another exciting Climb update.

First off, Fahrenheit Festival that we were due to headline on August 7th has been cancelled. It’s a real shame, but we understand their reasons. I had an interview on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire to discuss it, so check it out at http://tinyurl.com/mlz3lo.

We’re finally going to be entering the studio at the end of the month. We’re using Matty O’Grady as our producer again (You Me At Six, The Blackout, Architects etc). I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a 6 or 7 track mini album. One thing’s for sure, the songs are sounding killer, so expect an awesome record from us very soon!

We haven’t booked any shows, as we’ve been writing and polishing for our studio time, but be prepared for a string of shows after and a tour or two

We played our show in Buntingford, Hertfordshire the other night. We’ve played it once before and yet again it proved to be a crazy show. We love the kids there, they always go nuts for us! No doubt we’ll be back again soon
